Turkey Pastrami

Pastrami is a notoriously controversial issue. In other words, if you buy it in the supermarket - it is delicious, but who knows what's inside? So here is a great recipe for homemade pastrami, which is very easy to make and delicious to serve either hot or cold, particularly recommended for serving as an appetizer at a meaty buffet. Turkey pastrami is a particularly healthy homemade dish - because you know exactly what's inside – and of course much more delicious in general. Preparing pastrami is a process that takes about one day to get the best results. But at the end of the recipe, I will provide you with a trick to shorten the process.

Ingredients

  • It is very important to ask for a female piece. There is a difference between male and female when it comes to turkey Female Turkey Breast
  • 1 Liter Water
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Soya
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • As Needed Black Pepper
  • As Needed Paprika

After soaking - Should be covered with all spices

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon or grilled chicken spices Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Bulb Crushed Garlic
  • As Needed Salt
  • As Needed Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Boil the water with the bay leaves, salt, soy sauce, honey, black pepper and paprika.
  • After boiling, remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
  • Place the turkey breast into the water.
  • Leave it there a full day.
  • After a day, drain the water.
  • Mix the olive oil, paprika (or grill chicken flavoring), honey, crushed garlic and salt and pepper.
  • Spread the mixture on the turkey - to be coated and wrapped all around.
  • And place in a preheated oven 480 Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, turn off the stove and cover the pan with aluminum foil (without touching the piece!).
  • Leave for 20 minutes.
  • It’s now Ready! It can be served warm or wait for it to cool - and put in the refrigerator. When cold, slice it thinly – finely slice it thin like at the deli - and just enjoy the outstanding taste.
